By focusing on their challenges, I provide targeted guidance that can make a real difference in their projects and help them develop the specific skills and toolbox they need to succeed.

The ownership and implementation remains with the Project Manager.

Examples of project mentoring topics:

• Project Governance Set-up: Establishing a robust governance framework that also work in reality is crucial for any project. This includes defining project governance model (traditional, agile or hybrid), roles and responsibilities, effective meeting and communication structure and ensuring compliance with organisational policies.

• Planning Go-live for IT System Launches: This involves meticulous planning and coordination leading to Go/No-Go decision and succesful Go-live. Key aspects include data migration, testing, user training, technical cut over activities, hypercare, and ensuring that all stakeholders are prepared for the transition

• Improving Vendor Management: Effective vendor management can significantly impact project success - and cause frustration and stress in the project if not functioning. This includes selecting the right vendors, managing relationships and expectations and ensuring that vendors - and you - meet their commitments.

• Effective Communication with stakeholders: Clear and consistent communication is vital. This involves understanding stakeholders needs and drivers, adapting your communication style depending on audience, managing expectations and having a communication structure with a minimum of effort for the Project manager.
